Hello, so I lived in United States, I got my CoRp, I and my wife drove to Canada cause the border was near by. As we entered the border the officer just asked few questions as I’m sitting in car and just let me in. He didn’t ask anything else or signed my CoRp. he just scanned my passport and let me in. Is this normal or??

kindly let me know.

You were allowed in as visitors and didn't land. You needed to tell the officer you were there to land and become PRs. You'll need to go again and land properly.

Thank you so much. I knew there was something wrong. Hope it won’t be a problem to come back in. I’m gonna call the border and go tomorrow.

And also I gave my CoRp and he saw it and didn’t say anything. That was so wired.

Did you specifically tell him you wanted to land? If not, he probably thought you were just re-entering Canada again after landing.

If the COPR was signed, then you landed. The landing officer applies for the PR card.
