Hi all,

I just landed in Canada for my new job on a closed WP. it was a harrowing process with LMIA taking sometime and a lot of stress for me personally. Applied December for LMIA and then work permit. Got everything completed Apr 28th.
what are the best next steps for someone to think for PR now? Like best way for a foreign worker on a closed WP to think about PR. Is it best to go via express entry now that draws will resume? Or try for oinp related streams?
Summary: landed and will be working in Canada. Age 31,4 years of work ex total. Single. Pathway to PR

There's no generic answer to this question.

Depends on how many points you have under EE and other factors like which NOC your work permit is under.

You'll need to spend time reading / researching.

Thanks! I should have mentioned earlier. 0213 noc. It’s confusing with so many pnp focused streams under foreign worker, human capital priorities etc. and then generic fsw and cec. I will spend more time over the coming days researching.
