Landed in Canada but changed address

I landed on 28th but changed my address to another apartment in the same building in a week from that time. Now I am concerned about my PR card arriving at the wrong address. When I try to go to "change address" link at CIC, it refuses to acknowledge the existence of my landing document number. The number that begins with Txxxxxx... It says "Sorry we could not identify you." Nothing works, not even UCI number. What should be done? Thanks.

Change it using the online IRCC web form, you can call and then verify if your address has been updated

Thank you guys. I sent a web form describing the change of address. Damn it, I am worried about the card now. When do they generally ship it?

If you landed on 28th (I assume October) you are definitely fine and yours won't be shipped for next at least 4 weeks

If you landed on 28th (I assume October) you are definitely fine and yours won't be shipped for next at least 4 weeks

Oh thanks, Anford! That is very useful thread! I so wanted my card because I am not even able to get things like a phone on tab because they won't accept COPR as proof of permanent residence. They want the card only.

I also wanted to ask what do you do about health insurance? Go to Service Ontario? Because as of now, I am only on company insurance.

I'm sorry I actually don't know what phone on tab is (I was able to get everything while being temporary resident - phone, bank accounts, apartment rent, internet for home etc) and I'm not in Ontario but yes, you should call/go to Service Ontario to ask...
