Hey, I was wondering, if I was to be granted my PR status which I applied within Canada, do I still have to go out to another country and go back to Canada to get my status as a "landed immigrant" ? I'm not very clear with these circumstances.

No. You can simply `flag pole' by driving to the nearest land border (if you submitted an Outland application).

This means that you will present yourself at the US border and they will, in essence, refuse your entry (at your request) and send you back to the Canadian side (CBSA), where you will present your CoPR document and `land'.

All Inland applicants have to land at their local CIC office, when they receive their landing appointment.
