LA Passport Turn Around Time

No updates from my side. 13 days and counting....

wow! congratulations.. Mine reached on 3/29 still awaiting updates Did you receive it via Express or USPS regular/priority? And whether you were able to track it online using label?

I used Express for the return (back to me) and Priority for the delivery (to LA). I did not immediately send the passport on request. I think I sent it on the morning of 3/27, so it took 3 days to get there. They sent their package near COB (Close of Business) on April 8 and it made it to my city in the morning so around 1.5 days for Express.

Oh, there's one more thing that I noticed. On my visa the Issued At field says CPP Ottawa which is strange since I sent it to LA.

You won't be able to track the progress of your Express envelope on return until the embassy/consulate sends it back via the post office. Until then, your envelope will not be in the USPS's system.

Consulate cannot receive your passport on 3/30/2013 as it was a Saturday. Are you sure that they received it on 3/30?

I'm not sure if they "received" it, but it was definitely Delivered by USPS. They may not have processed or collected it until April 1.
