Once I resign how will i be able to cross the Canada - US border? As per myunderstanding L1A visa is a company specific work permit in USA. Once i got my passport back with PR i would be resigning from my job, with a notice period of few days. I am not sure what would be my status in USA on last day of my job. Will immigration office ask me for my legal status in USA while crossing border to Canada?
Any better thoughts?

if you fly they will just take off the I94 ...not immigration while going out of country...so nothing to worry

did you send your pp fr USA to your VO?!? what is your VO?

So your Visa Ofc is Buffalo, New York. Did u already send your passport for visa stamping?!? in what stage are u rt now? Good thing that your previous employer is not requiring you to go back to your home country since you are resigning...

why would they ask to go back. that doesnt make sense. what is the grace period to say after the resignation in the country?
