Quiet week in Kitchener it seems, but there was an oath ceremony this week it seems.

Hopefully there is some movement now another ceremony is over with.

I'm from Kitchener and I had my oath yesterday, I noticed the IRCC officer for this ceremony was from Niagara,
there were 47 candidates , so I'm assuming that not all candidates are from Kitchener.
I think there are others from southern Ontario offices as well

Has anyone gotten any update on their application? It's been a year now and still no test invite. I am a November 2020 applicant

No update either, still waiting for test invite.
Contacted my MP a few weeks ago, basically said that nowadays due to COVID, the Afghan refugees and the backlog of applications, it is normal to expect up to 2 years for the process. He said to contact him again in Jan 2022 if there are no updates on the application, and then he might contact IRCC on my behalf.

Oh wow that is scrazy that we have to wait for that long. There is nothing wrong with helping others, but ways help your own people first.
