Has anyone from Kitchener been sent a test imvite lately? People from GTA area seems to be getting test invites a lot lately.
I am starting to lose hope

I did my online citizenship test July 11,2021 and it was updated to completed but no decision made was rendered yet. I am not sure what’s going on.
Any advice would be useful.

It will take few months. My test was completed in the first week of April. Status was changed to 'decision made' only in the last week of July.

Yes, I have been scheduled to attend the virtual citizenship ceremony. The appointment is scheduled for September 15th. Just yesterday found that in my online application status.

When did you applied? And have you taken your citizenship test already?

It is very disappointing indeed. I reached out to Waterloo MP and still waiting to hear back from her.

I got an invite last week and took the test last Sunday. I am a Nov 2019 applicant so it will take some time.

Most likely. From what I can tell it normally takes a little over a year with this office.

Ohh okay. I am praying to get mine citizenship sometimes in December or January. I applied Novvember of 2020. All I am waiting on now is the test invite

I am also in same boat in terms of hoping. I need citizenship for converting my contract to a US job. And TN is the easiest route.

Is Citizenship required for your job? you can apply for urgent processing.

Yup, unfortunately this is typical of the Kitchener office, as I've seen based on personal accounts from friends as well as the ton of evidence on the forums here. The best we can do is hope for the best and keep ourselves busy with our lives so we don't go completely crazy lol.

Hey guys! Nice to see another thread for the Kitchener office. Yes, the Kitchener office is notoriously slow. And the proof is... there was another thread not too different from this one a while back that holds the sad history of our beloved Kitchener office. Location: Kitchener when applied. Later moved to Cambridge.
App Sent: June 1, 2020
App Delivered: June 2, 2020

Language, Physical Presence, Prohibitions all In Progress

Also, I've seen posts about agents informing applicants that online test invites come randomly from the test-ready pool and can come even from the Sydney office even while the app is in transit to the local office. So the online test invite delays might not entirely be the Kitchener office's fault.
