Proper, I know how you feel. My hubby and I've been waitng 14 months for him to come here now. Unfortunately, Immi doesn't care as much as we do. My hubby had to re-do his medical and police check at the end of May 2011 beause they has taken their sweet ass time doing nothing. We haven't heard a thing since. No idea if they received it or not. MP has sent two emails to them and still nothing and that was a long time ago too. I wish when I was going this time I could go to the Embassy and talk to someone but we all know how that would go...you need to leave you don't have an appointment and there is no one here that can see you. Wasted trip time and energy! So on that note keep your head up, keep smiling and keep your faith strong. We are in the same boat!

Propers...I can't believe they are still giving you trouble!! I'm getting nervous of this process watching what you and others are having to go through!!! With all due respect...its clear not all the IO's are up to the same standard regarding efficiancy and its clear Trinidad is a problem child when it comes to the medicals. Its unfortunate because its also clear that Kingston has some IO's that are very much on the ball, and there must be a few go getters at trinidad sameway for some applications to clear quickly and efficiantly!! But keep the faith guys....the wait sucks big time when your kids need mom and dad together and mom and dad need each other. But there are alot of ten-eleven month files so maybe they can't find it because it is on someones desk and about to be processed and sent back to Kingston so that PP call can come!! But the what ifs are crazy I know!! Crossing my fingers for you guys!

At the time it felt like it went by slow day to day....but then again it feels like I just filed them last week...so to be this far already is incredible. I think the most exciting part is...I remember the first month when you finally get that load of papers that made your hair fall out from stress LOL, filed and sent...and your so excited but you also know its gonna be a while before you hear anything other than sponsership approval, for even the fasted application. Being at five months...you know you could..fingers crossed...any time after that get a passport call or an important update and your file has definatly been in long enough for that.
