Kedeisha I'm still puzzled and in shock, cause they really caught me off guard, at 1 point I thought it was a prank call..lol. I was kinda worried because we didn't have much pics, maybe about 8, and we didn't have any phone bill. Maybe they jus felt sorry for us being apart for so long....dwl

u knw what it was your turn no 1 knows why but God was on your side n u deserve it 6 yrs i give u a medal ;D

did u fill out app by urself or with the help of a lawyer?

good for u saved yourself some $ in this hard times I am doing it alone as dont have lawyer $ to shell out, especially when I have all you peeps here that can answer my bag of questions once they start

did it myself even though my friend told me I HAD to get use a lawyer, she was charging US$60 for consultation and US$400 to assist me with the forms. If i wanted to call her and ask her anything about my app i'd have to pay her $60, so i decide to do it on my own and see wat happens

I thought I needed a lawyer at 1st because I was so anxious to get it over and done with, but as soon as I was calm and I read the questions more than once, I realized they were pretty straight forward, U'll be ok

aww thanks but in September when I start look for msg from me hopefully u will be arund to share the stories of u n hubby progress

What happens if you miss the call from Kingston?

I've noticed that my husband is really bad for letting his phone battery die or leaving it in the car or on the couch while he's sleeping or in the next room. Its becoming extremly frusterating to me...and I would like to be able to better explain to him what happens if he misses that call.

We all know that there is zero way to predict how fast files will go through. Our's is very straight forward and I doubt there will be any doubt in the IO's mind about our marriage....so needless to say if we get a good IO maybe we will be lucky like NMH or Island_girl....or we might have to wait ten months or so. All the same...being as its slightly unsettling to have to sit and wait for the unknown and one likkle phone call....I'd at least like to drill into hubby the importance of NOT MISSING CALLS!!!

Oh yes and good afternoon forum fam

Afternoon, SQ, LOL.

I think they would keep trying, and there is always mail (but don't rely on it). Hopefully they might actually try email if they are having a problem locating someone in particular.

Thanks CharlieD!

In regards to the immigration package Kedeisha...I would agree with Island_girl...it seems to confusing but with a bit of guidence on here, and carefully reading the questions, they are fairly straight forward. The key to it for me was to do on question at a time and focus on that question alone. If you focus on the whole application..its to overwhelming. Some of the questions are intense. For me the hardest were the timeline ones. It just takes a lot of effort to go through your relationship, and your life, and his life and write it all in order and they are asking for very specific dates. The hardest part of that is him, because often Jamaicans have lived all over the place...and sometimes there are periods in their lives where they might not live in one place...but just bounce between places until they get on their feet. Luckily my husbands was fairly straight forward.

mine is gonna be crazy gonna do a practice app especially the timeline part n addresses since 18 yrs old i cant think of all the jobs n address n numbers

Yes people do the app yourself only reason why i use a lawyer was because i was told that if you use one it will be faster but big lie. Cost us so much money
