Are you filing on your owm or through an agency? My accountant did everything, we didn't claim any income for him cause it's very minimal and i subsided when needed didn't wanna lost off CCTB either since it's only me right now

tax related question...so I have everything I need to file taxes. Ive heard their is a world income form so I don't want to risk losing CCTB. Does anyone have experience with this?

You dont know have to fill out the form when the accountant efile your tax return but if you get audited, they will ask for the form and proof of income.
I completed my own return last month and claimed my husband without any problems.

You didn't prepaid with the courier for them to send it back when done? If not they'll probably call for it to be picked up, commenting based on what I've seen from previous posts.

thanks for ur response impatientwife.....yes I paid for a prepaid return envelope thru Tara....but I was still wondering if they would call or should we just wait on the passport to be returned?

When your passport is pick up by tara couriers...... They will called the person who sent the documents to the embassy saying that they got an package from the canadian high commission to be pick up or will be deliveried the next day depending where that person live... I had a friend that sent there passport to embassy using tara and thayt what she told me they did...Tara called her and they deliveried the next day to her in St. Elizabeth...

I am new to this process. I sent off my application on Thursday. My friend told me that this is a good place to get support and information.
I have been married now for 4 months. My husband is in Jamaica. I feel so lost i don"t know what to expect from this process.
Can someone advise approximately how long this process takes?
