I'm not sure about anyone else, but I actually filled out 2 of these forms because of the number of siblings he has.

Thanks so much for the response. I am only sponsoring my husband and it is a little confusing. I understand that I am supposed to fill him in as the applicant and me as the spouse however directly under that it asks for mother, father, siblings and brother/sister information? Is this all filled out with his information about his family?

My hubby went today and got his SIN. We are so excited.

I couldnt sleep! I woke at 4;45 and now im exhausted. I might sleep during the day so time goes quicker (easy to do with my baby as hes always ready for a nap lol) and the other kids are gone to school. Omg omg todays the day!

As for the form, I should just go ahead and fill it out with all his family info and I don't need a seperate one for myself? And what is this "physically present" thing... How do you marry someone without being there lol

That form doesn't apply to you, it's just for your husband. Your not sponsoring yourself, your just sponsoring him, if for instance a family member was sponsoring him as he's married, he'd have to list his wife you, and you'd have to fill out your own form. It's stated right on the guide on the website which forms the applicant needs to send in and what forms the sponsor needs to send in.

I didn't fill out my own form, only my husband filled out 1 of his own, as its required only of him to do so.
So yes only fill one out for your husband, all his info - not yours, just list your self on his form Under spouse

the files are different, you have files for the sponsor that is the person who are sponsoring, his/her information should go on it and then the other is for the applicant his/her information .

I just wanted to let everyone know that never use jamaica postal service for any important papers going embassy my husbands police report ended up at british embassy even though it was address canadian embassy i spent yesterday trying to find my husbands police report it was a crazy fustrating day register mail means nothing in jamaica i am praying it makes it to the canadian embassy by tomorrow i mailed it nov 2 so until i know ots there i am STRESSED!!!
