Mine was expiring the end of Sept . I msgd them at the beginning of Sept. Do it abou a month before an just ask if you can get an extension because you know it's expiring soon.

Awww thank you. Kids are amazing arent they! I have 5 bi-racial children, (3 from ex husband, 2 with current husband)
I love them sooo much. They are my life!

Also wanted to let you all know KINGSTON is movin today , my husbands best friends case begun to process Feb 26/15 and the Canadian embassy called him today to ask him some questions on the phone and ended the conversation saying they were going to consider waving his interview and check the mail next week .. They asked him 1.about his wife's children 2.about his wife's employment and if it bothers him , his wife is a exotic dancer 3.about his current work and 4.if he met any of her friends and family . They called at 10 am this morning and I'm assuming yhey are at the final processing point where the VO decided whether or not to waive the interview ...
@shorty mine began processing Feb 20 and my husbands friends was Feb 28 .. So they started processing there's a week after ours but it took Kingston a little over a month from the time mine was all processed .. So you're began to process beginning of March so you should hear anytime now ... Your file I'm sure it almost at the top of the pile by now

oh I know it's crazy , and you would think that having young children your process would be quicker but it doesn't make a difference in there eyes .. You mentioned your son was going down to Jamaica to be with you so hopefully while your all there you hear something ... The last quere is waiting for the VO to determine Whether or not they will waive a interview so your almost there ...and at the end of the day you can atleast find some comfort knowing that your already several months into your processing ... This time last year I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off getting everything ready to send in...

Its been 27 days so far if I counted right and still no notes

I ordered my notes 45 days ago and I never received them but I don't know if it's because my husbands PPR was already sent so they assumed we didn't need them again . It was only $5 so I didn't bother calling to ask for a refund.. I also didn't send it online I sent it through canada post and had a tracking number and they did receive the request, they just didn't send them to me

Hey everyone, its great to see all your progress and updates, the information on here has been really helpful.

I was just curious if anyone had any thoughts on whether the impact of us coming up to election would have any impact on processing times of our applications, good or bad? I only just put in my application this week, so I have a while to go yet.

Anyone know if a potential a change in government would impact the staff of the VO & how they approach & process these files?
