YAY!!! That is awesome!!! I can't remember...have they asked for anything else from you the past little while?

Originals of birth and wedding certificates plus an updated Sched. A form (background check). We were happy to receive docs request, but a bit disappointed they didn't ask PP. But they are working on is app. that's what's most important. PPR will come soon hopefully ::)

Howdy doody Guys

Glad to hear so much movement going on in the VO hopefully everyone is back from summer vacation and fully trained, I would really like to two gifts for xmas one 6'2 hubby and 52 inch stepson, gosh birthday's and anniversary have passed so christmas is wat im looking hoping and praying for.

I tried the website today and i got in I actually used my husband UCI and it would be nice if the VO worked in some kind of order, its beyond sucks that some people have to wait longer than others but hopefully everyone will be coming to the end soon

Thanks guys, we are really happy that we are finaly in process, but PPR and hubby's arrival is not done yet, still work in progress.

We are always eager to see movement on the Kingston tread, happy for the ones receiving good news but in the mean time a bit confused and asking ourself why the wishes of some people that applied way after you comes through and you are there still waiting, even if you know that your spouse case is really straight forward and that it should'nt be that way, it is unfair :-X

But there is not much we can do about it, we are powerless. We just can rejoice for other and hope and pray that next time it will be our turn. That is what we all do the early 2013 applicants.

Sammy and all the others our time as come, we just have to wait a little more to spend our life with our other half. We are almost there, Hang on!!!!

I have a question for y'all, my status has said in progress since I was approved for sponsorship back in June 2014. My hubby had submitted medical, police records, and we paid the entire fees up front when we sent our application in May 2014. They have received his meds. Does that mean they are truly working on our file or did all of you have " in progress" from the beginning?

Congrats to all omg my prayers are working keep faith every one please n stay positive

Sammy keep praying n have faith yours is just around the corner ok

I also can't check my ecase either I put all info in and all it does is going blank after I log in

Also if meds are received but the first box shown is in process, does that mean I'm just at that phase

you will be "in progress" until they start working on your file and they decide to change to to "in process"...sometimes it doesn't even change to in process.

Meds will show as received once the file gets to Kingston. This ISN'T updated for everyone but their meds are there on the file. Evven though it says Meds received it doesn't mean that they have passed on his file. This could still take some time.

Since you just applied nothing will be done on your file for a while as they are currently working on the 2013 files.

hey guys

just a question if they say you have an interview does that mean we both get interview one in Canada and one in Jamaica

I would have to say that ECAS isn't always reliable. Our screen has said "Decision Made" since we received our sponsorship approval. The best method of figuring out where your file is to just order your notes.

PPR. PPR. PPR. PPR.

Hi Palara, if you are scheduled for an interview it's most likely because they require more information concerning your relationship, they want to make sure it's genuine. They will ask questions to the applicant and might request additional proof of the relationship. It takes place at the high commission of Canada in Kingston.

Sometimes the immigration officers will interview the immigrant upon his arrival in Canada too, but not all the time.
Hope that helps :)
