No they didnt. He had to resubmit his police check way back in February but no news until the call yesterday.

Hey girls! Just wondering... hubby received a letter today from Port of Spain.. I am confused though. It never really stated anything but it takes six months to something for a file to be processed and to "prepare himself" for Canada.. stating "Interview" but then said only if needed, and just outlined it.. wanting to know if anything changes etc;.... so can someone please tell me what this means?? I am sooo confused...

From what you posted earlier it sounds like they need to see that he went back to JA??? "Valid passport or travel document Copy showing return to Jamaica"

Sounds like he is going to need to go back to JA hun. Email them and ask then orr say he is in Canada right now on a work Visa - if that is what he has and he is her legally - and see what they say. If he doesn't have a valid visa at all to be here...then he willl need to go back for sure

But yes...you are at the end. They will look over all this stuff and then since they asked for PP issue his Visa!!!! YAY!!

Did they tell yuo how many days you had to send this info in?

we have 60 days so thats not the issue in the least, and neither is going back until complete~ we are just wanting to be sure he goes and sure to come back! there isnt anything wrong with file, medical(past two they have gotten) or police check either country so that shouldnt be a worry either

me too, just stressful and we always think the worst right?! keep hubbys checking email for sure though, we missed it today, was sent at 10 am and we didnt notice!! not sure how, but we did, good news is on its way for all waiting still!!!!

Whoohoooo! Kingston really started to work, told you guys it was only a matter of time.

Congrats to each of you who received good news and it will soon come for the others. VO are back at work big time. Interview or not if it's a genuine and loving relationship it shouldn't make you worried. Just provide whatever they are requesting and answer the truth that's all. 18 months is a loonnnnggg period of waiting but hey, as we were discussing hubby and I today, we are near the end of this roller coaster of emotions, we just have to wait a little longer for a long life together. Of coarse there will be other challenge in the future, but I believe that this immigration journey is preparing us to face them with much more wisdom, patience, understanding and definately much stronger!

Get ready people to hear more great news next week, we're just getting started ;D
Emails, snail mail, phone calls we'll take anything Kingston, and POS. PPR, schedule interview, docs request, anything that takes us closer to our ultimate goal, don't waist time, bring our family together where they belong.
