-We have been together 5 years (married 1 1/2) When we were just dating I would go twice a year, but since we got engaged & married it went up to 3-4 times a year anywhere from 2-5 weeks at a time.

Did u and hubby have a monogamous relationship over the years, do you feel that he is ' holding the faith' as I call it?
We had an open relationship in the beginning...But we had an understanding that if u had a 'need ' it was o.k, however it wasn't to go beyond that, like having someone ' on the side'... It's not something we spoke about, but had an understanding... When we got engaged we commited to only be with each other... Hence the augment of visits... Lol... Anyway can't imagine being with anyone else ... I think this process helped our relationship grow, because we ' kept it real' and did not have to lie to each other
I go to visit hubby 5 times a year (at minimum) and my stays range from 4 days to 3 weeks. I try to do at least 2 of my visits as 3 weeks and the rest vary depending on what I have going on. The last time I was there was mid December for my birthday (Big 3-0), and now I am going back in a couple of weeks for our 1 year wedding anniversary! Woohoo!!! Only 7 weeks between these trips.
We were monogamous from the beginning and I actually do believe that my hubby holds his faith. There is literally never a time that I don’t know where he is or what he is doing and vice versa... and when I say never, I do mean NEVER. For those of you that really know me, you know how this is possible. That being said, it was upon mutual agreement that anything one asks of the other is (without be said) asked of both. I too have such frequent visits because of our monogamous relationship.
I know of many MANY people with open relationships (some discuss with their partners, some do not. Some are married, some are still dating) and to each their own. I am curious and interested in that side of the coin as I have always only been monogamous, but every relationship is different!
