Hey you! where have you been hiding young lady........missed your perky messages! :P

Lol. I've been stalking from afar!!!

Has anyone else had a problem receiving correspondence from CIC-Mississauga or Kingston? I spoke with immigration the other day and they confirmed that my file was transferred to Kingston on November 6th and that a letter was sent to me confirming that. When I was in Kingston on December 10th to deliver a doctors letter about my sons worsening condition, the receptionist told me that my file wasn't there and that it was still in Mississauga. I told her that I had confirmed with CIC Mississauga before I left that I was to deliver the documents to Kingston and not Mississauga. She took my documents and said she would hold them. When I asked her what would happen to the documents, she sharply told me that I'd better realize that this was a long process and I shouldn't expect anything to happen quickly.

My question is where does that documentation I gave her go now? Where is my file? I called immigration again when I got back and they advised me to put this all in writing and fax it to Mississauga, which I did and I still haven't heard anything. What should I do?

False. :(

Once you've received Sponsorship approval your application will not be returned to you.

Awwww lexi, I'm so sorry to hear about your unfortunate encounter in KG. Do these people have hearts?!?!?!?!?

I'm sure Mississauga sent your application to KG via diplomatic mail on or around November 6. I would suggest sending an email to KG confirming they received your application. I would also attach a copy of the documents you dropped off and explain that in your email.

I'm sorry to read that things aren't improving for your son.
:'(

(((BIG HUG)))

it might just be that the people in Kingston have not uploaded your file on their side.....it should be there by now but iit is probably in a pile waiting to get inputted at which time you will be at registry.

well come back we miss you!

Here's a giggle for you on a Monday night:

I ordered my GCMS notes on December 3 and I received them back today -- I believe they were delayed because of the holiday season. Of course they were generated on the day I ordered them. ::) And guess what? There was still no changes in them!!!!! All of the status's (excluding medical) are all not started and there's no notes made by a visa officer!!!!!

I'm tempted to throw another $5 away and order them one last time to see what is them now that we are finished with the process!!!!

KG sent your application back?!?!?!?!?!?!

I thought it was all reviewed in Mississauga and sent back from Canada if things were missing.

I always thought we considered AOR on KG's side, not Mississauga's; even though we all know KG doesn't send them!!!!

. WOW! I don't know why we all question the immigration process ? But we do know why they only charge $5. Lol
