Thought you bought a ticket that you were able to change? If tickets are showing 1000.00 right now you won't have to pay that. You can change your ticket for the fare difference....unless you got that ticket refunded.

Try Caribbean airlines. I was looking at them today and saw seats for less than 300.00 one way out of Kingston to Toronto. You get 2 checked bags and free seats with them.

Thanks Sammy I had a flight booked for today but canceled and Jan is 1000 or more hard to get certain airlines. Kingston is so mean I think that's when the passport will come back.

well the time has come

My ECAS now says Decision made.

when i click on it it says ... "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

how do they contact me? by sending the DHL back? phone? email?
There has not been any movement on the DHL package.

i am so overwhelmed right now... i dont know what to do!
I would like him home for Christmas but i also want to fly home with him. i have thoughts going through my brain... Do I leave before we even get the passport back? is there a possibility of denial? without an interview?
will we even have the passport back before they shut down on dec 24?


I need some advice ... Please... :-\

I think thats what im going to end up doing...to be so close i can taste it.. and then have to wait more... Friday is a bad day to make decisions.. These should have been made on thursday!!! LOL yes.. BREATHE! thats the right thing to do!

Yea jan ours will come that's when plane fares are so expensive thanks Kingston. My husband won't be coming if its that price not paying that. He will have to stick it out even longer.

O&O. I know the first week of January is over 1000.00. That's prime time to travel after the holidays. I did some looking around and after the first week there are flights with westjet, Caribbean airlines and Air Canada starting at 300 and going up to 575 depending on what day of week your gonna travel.

Just trying to help ya out and get your hubby home to you. I've been a travel agent for almost 20 years and I know from experience that flights coming home from the south the first week of January are brutal if you don't book months in advance. Don't worry. He will be home in January. Keep an eye on flights after the first week. Also on Thursdays Westjet posts their sales. So look for those too

Air Canada is 654.00 on the 9th and Westjey on the 10th is 618.00. As long as he lands by or on the 10th he's good. They know ur meds are gonna expire so the passport will be back by then

Have you ever watched the duttyberry show? Well you will see that sometimes it takes a minute for someone's life to change after trying for a while. In the process of waiting something spectacular happens and propels one to greatness. It is never easy to wait, especially when it takes so long but when the wait is over no one can deny the power of embracing that which kept you dreaming for change. I am not saying the call is February, saying he will be with you by then. Not too long now...hold on sister, not easy but do-able.
