And yes I cant wait to see him..I just need a GREAT BIG JAMAICAN style hug and amongst other things..tee hee..Things are going good though I have bought a Iphone and sent it too hubby so we can face time..that will make things a little more easier, I will be able to see his face..the only down side to that is he has to go to License to get a wifi connection...lol But it is do-able..

Sooo, I know i'm kind of a stranger around these parts as I'm under FSW. But I do drop in to read every now and again. I was doing some research trying to figure out why the times are what they are, and while I know this may be cold comfort, KVO has one of the largest intakes vs other VO's (even POS). Since JUNE 2012 till DEC 2012 they have received 883 Family Class sponsorship applications alone! Since this year between JANUARY 2013 and JUNE 2013 they received 566 more. This is almost more that 100 cases per month!!!! And remember, these numbers don't include any other programme except Family Class.
As I said, just a little analysis I've been doing on their spreadsheets. Makes for pretty interesting reading and kind of gives you an idea of the numbers you are up against.

Anyway, long story short, there are a tonne of family class applicants out there, (people must be getting thru) just hang in there. Your time will soon come! **

Hahaha! I hear that one! I'm looking at early February though Gotta be there for our first anniversary. We have never spent christmas or New Year's together, the least I can give him is our first wedding anniversary! Looking at Feb 7-Feb 17... almost $650!!! But I gotta do what I gotta do... I have a serious WestJet credit I can start to use up anyway! lol

They have the links to the spreadsheets online. You can download at anytime. For the data pertaining to the Family Class, you just make the choices from the drop down boxes.

Lol, lets not get it confused! I normally pay $500 (return including taxes) on the HIGH end. My tickets average $375-$450 (return, taxes in). What do you get away with?!

wow those are definitely interesting stats.....I totally realize we are among a small percentage of what Kingston gets hence why I don't try to bother them with emails and such but I definitely get frustrated sometimes with the "not knowing" what is going on. Big ups to the Kingston VO's.......have to remember them in our prayers because even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it, they are definitely hard at work!

How the bleep are you people getting such cheap rates!!! :'( the cheapest one I ever got was 630 and I still had to pay another 100 to get to the airport I was flying out of...

If I was to fly from PEI the cheapest I've seen was 787 and those are like 24 hour flights there and back...(not happening!) Looks like Mrs. Parkin needs to move!!!!!!!
