Question for my particular case does the rprf needed for a dependent child?

Hi jamnic, you and I have kind of the same timeline. I filed for my hubby in April of 2012. Kingston immgration would have to give you an interview before your husband can be denied. I really think your ok. WFO situation is really different from yours, everyones situation is different. I know it's taking them long to return your husbands pp,but just be patient. My hubby handed in his pp in july and he didn't get it back until October so just have faith and trust in God that everything is going to be ok.

I emailed the Kingston office two days ago asking for status on the application and I received a replied saying 'the application is at the final stages of processing'. Does this mean he could be here by New Years? Is the embassy open in December??

to everyone else, now is not the time to ignore private number call.

I completely agree with this do not ignore these calls! My husband received 3 calls from a private number and he missed them. But they haven't called him back.

Hi there.
I don't think this is completey accurate because I know of someone whose paper work was received on Oct 24/13 and their paper work is already processed and sent off to JA on Nov 20/13.

Maybe they are holding out on us. The updated information is posted weekly usually after Wednesday.

Hello everyone......im new to this forum. I been reading alot of story and looking at some of you all pitures which i think is very lovely....I see that this forum have alot of high spirits that can cheer up anyone life...I just want to say keep up the good work for sure....Everyone just have faith in the Lord and everything will be ok in the long run...

I know it's possible to still get the call, but I would love for it to go to in process. It's just a small thing, but would mean a lot to me. I am supposed to get my notes middle of next week, and I can't wait. Hopefully something new is in them.

I can't belive someone from POS got the phone call after applying 4 months ago. That is so amazing and those people must feel like they are flying!! To prepare yourself for a 22 month wait and then 4 months!! wow. good for them. Anyways, there ecas still says application recieved. I wouldn't mind if the same thing happened to us, lol!

maybe they will catch up and can fly over one of their people to help with Kingstons backlog

you only need to pay the $490 RPRF fee one time per application.......if the app is only for a child it would still need to be paid. This is actually the fee to receive your permanent residence card.
