So true flowers; they already know criminal checks take long; that should be the focus.

WOF that is the most bull*censored word* reason to deny someone!!!! I am a nurse and %70 patients barely know their medications or own diagnosis some people have had urgeries and can't even tell me if an organ was removed!!! I am so annoyed at the process and the fact that because of one or two questions you get to decided upon someone's 11year relationship. Even if the spouse is using someone for money or status it happens in Canada all time I think it is up to the person to figure it out or maybe they have and are ok with it. Immigration should just be checking that they are not sending criminals into our country and leave it at that.

wow now im a little hesitant sending western union receipts with my application..... :-[
@ waiting... just a question please dont think this is rude just wondering if ur husband did meet your kids?
and once again im so sorry for your situation.....

Good night everyone,

Just want to say that I am very sorry for this stupid decision from Kingston WOF. That really doesn't make sense. We all know how life is hard in JA, not lots of people have the chance to get a permanent job to earn a respectable salary, how it is easy to become a bad man and deal drugs, do scams or whatsoever and that is how an honest man is rewarded, being judged because he's getting a little help by his own wife? Would they get to the same conclusion if it would be him helping his sponsor wife, God forbid, then they would say that he's trying to buy your love to get his permanent residence?!?!

It is them that are using us for money, charging for the process, for medical and police record and courrier services without keeping us informed and giving us poor service through out that process.
Go on appeal big time! It is your right and duty as a Canadian citizen. Bring your man home!

Good Morning !

Thanks for thinking of me yesterday Nev and O&O. Definitely not ready to see snow!!! :( So depressing!! Saying bye to hubby was hard enough but then to come back to snow is just blahhhhhhhhhh... :(

I noticed the 9 month expiry on the police certificate too, O&O. pfffffttt!! Cash grab indeed!!

Chickie: love the new spreadsheet colors!!

Waitingonforever: I really admire your strength and determination. Keep up the fighting spirit!!

Looking forward to a new week and seeing some good news on the forum... especially for the early 2012ers!!

Hello waitingonforever, I keep on an eye on my brothers and sisters from the Kingston thread and have been reading the latest developments :o. I am so very sorry that you are enduring this unfair and unreasonable burden yet constantly inspired and impressed by the strength and faith of so many of you standing strong for your marriages.

As it has been said, when the going gets tough, the tough get going and I pray that your appeal is swift and successful (most are by the way) along with the others here waiting so long (2012 peeps, can I get a witness? :'() to be with their spouses.

I will continue to pray for encouragement for all of you and sending special hellos to Kadi, Nev, chickie, carm, child of God, O&O the maddant's and any newbies I may have missed. Blessings.

Happy Sunday everyone.....one more day till Kingston is back at work! Yahhhhhh been a quiet weekend for me but I am ready willing and able to start coloring that spreadsheet this week! Come on Kingston bring us our spouses!

Happy Sunday evening everyone. Been pretty quiet in there this weekend.

Well today is my 1 year anniversary and man do I wish I stayed down in JA with my hubby. Being home the past 7 weeks has made me realized how much I miss him and love him. We talked right at midnight and I was able to see him on skype so that made my day. He can't get over how big our little girl...and i can't believe he turned 5 months yesterday.

I really hope Kingston gets off their butts tomorrow morning and start making some calls. Also hope that they find my damn medical soon. It's still MIA :(

Well have a good night everyone :)
