Looks like there is no chance of knowing ahead of time. Just have to be patient for one more day. :(

Hello ,
The package was returned sealed from the high commission. Therefore the decision can only be known once the envelope is opened.

Carm one more day and your life might change forever. Before you know it you will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I am praying its a shiny visa your hubby sees when he opens up the package. How is your hubby feeling now?

Hi Chickie, when my husband did his medical last January, the doctor told him that they've change the procedure. The doctor sends everything to Mississauga now, nothing else to do than to pay the fees and go through the different tests.

Have a good week everyone!

Hi cafelatte, just wanted to chime on this as my hubby did his medical (along with my stepchildren) last January as well on the "new" procedure. Although we are going through the POS office we still had to get the sheet chickie72 is referring to and add it to the application for all of them. The electronic medical file does go to Ottawa but the hard copy paper that the Dr. signs is supposed to go in your application. You may want to double check this with a CIC phone agent as some physicians are still doing it this way. Always better to be safe, just in case. Blessings.

He is better he went to kingston friday and saw another Doctor there saturday morning. He was given something that sounds like a vapor that he put into water and breaths in. ANyways whatever it was it worked he has been headache free for 2 days now after 10 days of pain. I am thankful for that. he is in kingston for one more day and heading home early tomorrow. Its cute he is staying at his grandma's place and there is 3 of his little cousins there he is so good with kids but they are there when we talk on the phone just bothering him lol makes me laugh.

Well cool thanks, that is something new! Less paperwork that has to go in the application so that is good!
