you are very welcome sis......when you redo your medical did they tell you to go and do it over

so in regards to the application fees, did most people pay ALL the fees upfront as it states on the application or did you wait to pay the PR fee intil requested to do so?

@maddants yes someone from the embassy called me to tell me i need to re-do..However i did not receive any forms to do it so i just went ahead n made an appointment n did it..after i joined this forum i was reading other posts where people said the embassy sent them forms with their file #, UCI number and other info to bring with them..

So now i am kind of worrying what will happen in my case since i did not get form

yes i understand what you are saying sis...but i dont think it take that long to to see if a relationship is bonified or not........so in my case they telling me that they have some doubt and it took them over a year to say that......plus the going to add on more time for background check.....this is just crazy that why i just have to laugh at all this :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
well clearly we all know that yours is not a normal case people that applied after u have already had interviews so I wasn't comparing to yours but a normal app they have to establish bona fide first whether it be from the app or from an interview then they will move to everything else! I haven't the slightest clue how your app is being processes because it has been messed up from day one! :)

@ millsu the medicals are done at the end if they realize they are near the end and they are about to expire because u can't leave the country in an expired medical so they will either ask to redo or ask for a extension. Right now my medicals all say passed on my notes along with my eligibility but if this goes on much longer then we will have to redo or extend because they are soon expired.

Hi everyone. Been lurking because work was soo busy. But just wanted to check in with everyone n see how we are all doing. No news on my end. I leave to see my husband in 31 days. I then have 18 blissful days with the man I've spent less than 60 days with since we got married two years ago. When I go about my day to day life I just keep rolling. But when I sit down and add everything up. I feel sad :(

The day I come home from Jamaica will mark our one year anniversary with CIC. I hope to bring home the best souvineer yet!

in regards to your question my friend....... some ppl pay all the fees at once. they say that it take off 2 months off the application time. i say if you have the money to pay everything then i would sure advice to pay everything at once so u dont have to deal with it at a later date.... As for my application, wifey just paid the application and filing fee first which sum up to $550.00 cad then when she got the rest of the money for the permanent resident fee she just paid it separate... if they ask you to pay the rprf then it would add more time to your process so i think that everyone is trying to avoid

yes sis, my application process from day one have been messed up.... :P :P :P :P :P :P........i think that the immigration officer that is dealing with my case is spiting me because i use to email them 2 times a day everyday for for 2months straight.. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D.... then the last email i sent was to the commissioner himself and look like they must of got mad and gave me this long time to wait... 8) 8) 8) 8) 8).......the most important thing is that i got the date and im preparing myself for that day...

Good morning everyone! Kingston is back to work! WOOHOO........come on let's hear some good news this week.....we haven't heard nothing in a long time, we got lots of people waiting for passports to come back and lots of people waiting to hear something from Kingston so let's getting moving! Let's rock out August! Have a good day everyone and blessings!

Dont worry Maddants. Good things come to those who wait. Your celebration is just around the corner. They can't keep a good couple down! When is your interview?
