The decision made was underneath his name and I'm just not sure how they will contact him will it be on phone email or regular mail?

Usually its with a phone call but he can check the mail.

HI All!!
Hope you are all doing well!
I am headed to the Caribbean Days Festival in Vancouver this weekend and I am so excited to experience a little piece of Jamaican heaven here in Vancouver!! We don't have many Jamaican or Caribbean restaurants close to where I live so I can't wait to indulge in jerk chicken, rice and peas, curry goat and patties!!
Wishing you all a fabulous weekend!!!

where abouts are you in Canada? I use to live in Vancouver and I go often to visit :) I loved Caribbean days ;D

Do you think we have a better chance of my husband visa getting approved if we get him a return ticket from canada attached to his visiting visa applcation?

Sorry carm. Based on personal experience and the overwhelmingly negative info from the forum. Temp res visas are almost impossible to get. I'm confident that cic won't care if u purchase a ticket.

I agree Carm; also from personal experience; try not to waste too much money to fatten their kitty and they are doing less work ::)

ahhhhhh thank you so much.....another question.....they don't have forms to take with them no more when they go right? New procedure? So if we just want to re-do, then he can just call and make an appointment right?

agreed.....next to impossible to get a TRV unless he has LOTS of money in the bank and it has to have been there for a while, you can't just go put it in there.......a home paid for in JA, a very good job in JA as these are all reasons that he will have to come back to Jamaica so it shows proof that he will come back......based on experience from other forum members most are denied as they feel the spouse will not return due to the fact that their spouse is in Canada....if you are denied while he is in Canada, then it is more then likely he won't come back to JA (just an example of why) :( sorry
