I have not. I need to get hubby to sign the release of information form as they no longer accept your Use of Representative form (if you filled one out, like we did). So I will have to mail it Monday. The mail to him and back is soooo slow though, so looks like a month before I can order I'm sure. I wonder if they would accept a faxed copy that he signs...

But I do want to order ASAP

I knew I could email in the documents if I scanned them but I was not sure if the documents had to show original pen signatures or if a faxed copy would be ok. Now that I know, that will make it a lot faster for me to send it off. Thanks

My question....Anyone know if its gonna be a huge wait if my hubby was here on a work permit for a year and had a denied refugee claim before leaving Canada....we had our application in 4 months before he left and he abided by all CBSA orders..
I am hoping I'm not in for the 17 month wait !

Welcome to the family dlmo77! Please feel free to provide your info i.e. when you applied, when you were approved as sponsor, when you received AOR, etc. and Chickie will add you to the spreadsheet (which is near her ticker if you want to see everyone's timelines).

As it has been said many times there's no rhyme or reason when it comes to Kingston so it may take 6 months or it may take 17 months nobody knows for sure. Once you take a look at the spreadsheet you will see very few people have had to wait the whole 17 months.
