Got an email to send original documents and passport today. And they were sent today.. Kingston is working..

I sent my pkg in on sept 24 and got my sponsorship approval on November 2nd. Is it just me or are they moving slower than usual. Noticing the approximate 7 moth waiting time is getting out of hand

do you mean 7 or 17? the waiting time for Kingston is 17 months so I am just wondering where you got 7?

I know the website says 16 months but I've seen people go through in as little as 3. Also, the standard time seemed to be 7-9 months. The wait time for sponsorship said 69 days on the website but it came through at around 45. Just basing on what I've seen.

oh ok.....I see what you mean now....I was confused by it sorry. Yes the website says 17 months and this is from the time your file reaches JA not from when you sent to CIC Mississauga. The 17 months is just a baseline, they say 50% of the applications get thru in about 1/2 that time so approximately 8 months. As long as your application is straight forward then it shouldn't take much longer then that (by straight forward i mean, applicant hasn't traveled out of JA, no children on application etc..)

lol i ordered my gcms notes back in November before i knew what was going down with kingston
they finally arrived yesterday .....
going through them is very interesting

all those emails sent to Kingston with no response.... they put them all in my file word for word lol ( you think they would have saved some grief and answered :-X)

Glad i ordered them though no lie cause it gave me a different perspective on the whole immigration process

question for those who have ordered the notes before .... did you get a copy of your original application criminal back ground check .... medical certificate ...etc?

the first time i ordered them it was my lawyer friend who order on my behalf and explained it to me ... wow this time came directly to me ..... so much information and so detailed

they sent all those to me in my notes

word of advice immigration takes notice of EVERYTHING pertaining to your file
