Ok perfect who do the letters get addressed to ? I will submit some just to play it safe....I want smooth sailing lol just need him here :(

Miss Dominica is on point with this. Supporting letters from friends/family (from both sides) is not listed as a requirement in the guideline however I would recommend obtaining them as they will serve as supporting evidence towards the genuineness of your relationship. For these letters, you could address it as "Immigration Canada. Dear Sir/madam," and submit the originals. Be sure that it includes the persons name, contact info and occupation; cards, letters between your husband can be as photocopies. Also, I would be weary about sending fabricated evidence however that would be your call. I don't think a few cards would hurt. If there is lack of proofs, you can address and explain the reasons.

Best of Luck!

Thanks :) i certainly wouldnt be sending any kind of fabricated evidence of any sort...I only thought sending the letters would be an added bonus due to the fact its hard to show blackberry messenger conversations and thats mostly how we talk ....So i figured anything to help us i would do....

I save and email my bbm chats on my phone so I can print them off. It might be too late now, but you could start and at least send some samples and explain that you didn't know you could save them prior to that.

That's really awesome Maddants! It's a always a good feeling when they correspond to email inquiries. :D
The good news is that it doesn't take a long time to obtain the police records in Jamaica at the time when you redo them.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hey Lonelymrs. Apologize for the misunderstanding as I was not insinuating you'd even do that. :) I should have been more specific as I was not referring to the letters. In the application, it mentions proofs such as cards, phone records, emails, letters however I believe that as long as you can prove that there's consistent communication between you and your hubbie since your relationship started, you'll be just fine. It would be nice to have everything in a perfect world however I highly doubt this is the case for everyone going through the process. I also believe the VO's stationed in the foreign offices understand this and the barriers with postal offices, internet service, etc. The items from the list you're not able to provide such as cards from your husband, or a pages and pages of phone records, you can give a short and sweet explanation. Your pictures, flights, itineraries, letters from friends/family, and anything else you've collected should be fine.
