Why did I think you were in T.Dot girl? Yuck!! That's darn cold and it's not even Jan. yet.

You sound like my boss!!!! My team all work out of TO and they are forever telling me to move there and now they use hubby as another reason I should go there. I travel quite a bit across Canada for work so I don't have to endure too much of our nasty winters....

Not sure of the one in Jamaica however....

Lemon Grass in Canada is a herbal quasi vegetable and a staple used in many asian countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, (you get my drift) for seasoning/marinating. It's gone mainstream and is now used as "flavoring" in teas, candy, etc.

Deeelicious - Try TAZO green tea with lemon grass. One of my favs which you can get a Starbucks or Supermarket.

my husband dropped of the ARC payment today and also the letter of why Canada should let him back in (well you know I had to type up a nice letter for him).

So everything is at the embassy. Hopefully the VO looks at it before Christmas. I know the slowdown will start in about 1 wk or 2 or so I hope she reads it at least to approve him in the beginning of January to come home. Fingers crossed.

MMM...yummm :P...ii loove fever grass tea...Jamaican's use it for reducing temperature caused by fever...It works welll, trust me!!!....have a fever???...sip on some fever grass tea and its gone in couple hours.

Why didn't hubbie give this to me when I was bed ridden with fever for days....... or did he? ???

Instead he rubbed me down from head to toe....literally.....with rubbing alcohol? ???

I felt like I was 2 years old again.

Very interesting! Good to know when anyone has a fever! And seasoning too! WOW! didnt think of that..

Will try to tea with lemon grass.. I think I saw that here. If not it will be on my grocery list when I arrive!

Congrats Tin Tin!! Homeward stretch!

LMAOOOOOOOOO....oh gosh, Halfmoon...maybe he never thought of it, or fever grass wasnt anywhere close by (it's mainly around bushy areas like SAV)......Hubby has fever grass bushes growing around his yard....

But the rubbing alcohol is something they use also.......I usto get rubbed down with rubbing alcohol and then told to lay under a thick blanket of some sort to "Sweat' out the fever...LOL....its funny, but that also works....did ur hubby tell you to do that, halfmoon??

Oh it's pretty bushy where he lives. Or maybe he gave it to me but was too delirious from fever to recall.

I just recall having all my garments completely taken off like a two year old baby being rubbed down with vaseline, powder but instead with rubbing alcohol. Then under the sheets I went while he stayed up like a night watch looking over me.

My face was screwed the whole time and he litterally talked to me like a baby......Goo goo ga ga?
