For the first time I have been able to log into the system with both (weird). Right now I'm willing to grasp at anything as long as it means the process is speeding up.

Does it make sense to go to the actual office in Kingston for an update?

No. They do not accept walk-in inquiries at the Immigration section, only persons actually dropping off applications or documents (which can be done at the drop window) or attending scheduled interviews are permitted inside the embassy.

Thanks CharlieD10.

This is so annoying so many cases from March have had medical updates and mine is just lingering. I'm happy that others are receiving progress but where is the consistency?

There is none. I am landed and I never got a "medicals received" update at any point in 14 months. Do not stress over what others see or don't see. CIC is inconsistent from office to office and within offices from officer to officer. Accept that as a fact and move on, and you will feel a lot better, trust me.
