35 business days til i received my AOR i am NOT complaining!

According to the website i should been waiting at least another 56 days.

Hey Anada... according to the website it is 86 days right now but these are not business days! so according to ur timeline, you are at 51 days with an AOR!!!! That is great! if you go the whole 86 days, then you have about 35 left for approval but I personally dont think it will take that long if you already have AOR... I am thinking 2-3 weeks for approval!! Regardless, this process doesn't give us many things to celebrate until the end so for sure you should celebrate this!!!

Well today is the baby's 2nd birthday (**Twenty-six**). Gonna bake him a cake and hope to get to Skype with hubby tonight while he eats it and opens his present! cant wait!

oh i didnt know they still worked on weekend, and stat holiday too~ had no idea!! lol i was counting 91 business day until approval time cause that what it said when i first applied....well if thats the case , even better!

Hmm, don't think I will return to JA for another 3 months or so due to financial constraints. My last trip I went for 6 months without seeing my boo and that was really hard to handle. But I really hope that I won't have to travel down again and he will be travelling here to Canada for good b4 October.

Once my step daughter gets here will she automatically be covered under OHIP? What do I need to do to get her card? also will her PR card just automatically come or do I need to apply for that too?

Not sure if things are same like hubby

OHIP coverage kicks in after 90 days of residence in ON. There is a form to fill in and take to Service ON, if she is over 15 1/2, she has to go along. If not, then as her parent you can do it for her.

Things will be the same as for hubby, her first PR card will arrive in the mail.
