Hey Jamgirl welcome to the family. Hoping for a speedy process for you too.I certainly understand where u r coming from. my little boy is 3 and finally my last trip in january was when he got use to his daddy and vise versa. Its not easy but all we can do is be patience.I have learned alot from this forum.Everyone here is really great and suportive.
I have to admit that kingston has been doing a great job so far..yeahhhh for them...

oh CharlieD10 do i ever love your attitude. I cannot wait for an update for you. we are all going to be celebrating big for you. knowing me tears of joy will be coming down my cheeks...

Jamgirl, a number of persons whose applications were recently approved to sponsor and transferred to their VOs also had the "medicals received" update immediately after sponsor approval. Unfortunately, since that is an electronic process and they are uploading the files electronically at CPC-M now, that is apparently a preliminary check, so to speak. The actual review will take place at the VO, and it is usually the last one. I wouldn't expect similarly quick processing for the other stages, but all the same, anything is possible. If your hubby has a fairly uncomplicated background, his checks could go quickly and perhaps the summer will bring him home to you!

Meanwhile, there's work to be done getting the home ready for his arrival, tickets to save for, trips to plan and occasions to celebrate! Make the most of each day, guys, whether near or far.

ok, after checking with a cpl others on here, it seems the medical takes approx. 5 months to reach KGN. My husband actually did his 2 months prior to sending app, which puts him at that 5 month mark. Im on wishful thinking right now, lol... I think im just going thru a very impatient period, but im feeling better today after reading on this forum....

JAMGIRL-----WELCOME if u need help its the place to be the girls and guys are a great help just like u said its hard not to compare ur stats with others cuz everyone is soooooo diffrent but the greatest thing is u are in the line up i put my app in aug ,23,2011 and my e-cas says what urs says except for the medical part witch is fustrating but alot of people say that its normal and e-cas is not reliable when it comes to updates (witch makes u crazy ) but same time eases the mind a lil oddly lol but good look pray for a speedy approval

My ecas says meds recieved too. My husband did his medical Oct/26/2011. I have no clue what any of that means tho lol.

so frusterating hey, especially when it doesnt seem to be consistent how each file is updated. Guess we cant complain if we end up approved.... I often wonder if the people assessing our cases have any idea of the true feelings that are tested during these times... I wonder if they have ever walked in our shoes...

I wouldnt worry guys, everything will work out, I have nuff faith, cuz I been through a lot in my life, really ruff road, and truly I believe the BEST is yet to come. I been living without my soulmate, my heartbeat, my best friend for 5 yrs, and I really didnt have the resources for a long distance ting, but we made it work, and I dont regret a day. If it meant to be it is meant to be.
