Good morning everyone!!

Danielle we tried the visitors visa too for my husband to be here for our daughters birth and nope dint get it either!!

As far as mailing goes DHL is crap!!!! They sent off the medical redo last thursday, hubby got a tracking number from them. Now tell me this, if its express, why did it go to miami and in venezuela as we speak??? That is a week now it was sent!!!! Good lord I swear nothing is ever working out for us

Its thursday and still no updates!! What's going on KGN?? Let's get going!!!!

@ Danielle, my husband tried for a visitors the yr b4 we were married, and his grandfather is one of the founding member's of the J'can canadian association and had big big notarized sworn ting from him that he was gonna be responsible for him, Plus bank statements with over 20,000 Canadian $ plus my husband has land and car ties in Jamaica, and a very good Job working for one of the biggest car dealership in J'ca, and he got deny flat out. KMT big waste of time, plus I think it made my husband feel very hopeless, as he as been a good behaving citizen all his life, and has college education and hard working. Sometimes you just can beat the system...when in rome yu do as romans do yea...So at least if yu husband gets permanant residency he can travel, and it will give him a bit of freedom, I as well am not sure if my husband will like it here either, but at least he can try it out and then we take it from there.

@ My super smart angels of sponsorship (CharlieD & Kedeisha and the rest ), I need an informal checklist of all the forms I will specifically need for my app, considering the new online generic form..because I still have to add the additional fam one, the spouse questionnaire etc etc..I just want to make sure I am not missing something, because I am just gonna type them up online and print them off. Mi confuseeeeee :'(

You need the Document checklist at the top of your pile they say u need to put the barcode from the generic form at the top but i didnt put it, if you want to seperate your file into 3 piles sponsorship form, PR form and proofs thats what i did

so:
Checklist IMM 5491
Application to sponsor IMM 1344
Sponsorship Evaluation IMM 5481
Sponsorship Questionnaire IMM 5540
Use of Representative IMM 5476If applicable
Your copy of the receipt showing you paid

Pile 2:
Generic form IMM 0008
Additional Dependants if applicableIf your husband has more than 5 kids use this as well
Schedule A IMM 5669
Additional Family IMM 5406
Sponsored person questionnaire IMM 5490
8 pictures
Meds receipt please photocopy this in case of trouble down the line
Police Clearance

Pile 3
Pictures that are of importance so him and your kids, family pics etc
Emails, letter
Post cards
Plane tickets, stub copy of passport showing entry and exit stamp
Proof of phone calls do not send phone cards generally thats not accepted so phone bills
Western Union receipts
IM, chat logs
Letters of support If applicable so friends, pastors, family
Also if you wanna incude additional info to prove relationship is genuine include it behind applicable parts
If you were gonna "sell" your husband's marketability meaning his likelihood to integrate into Canada's job force do so I remember you saying you were scared because of your income and children

Please remember to include your marriage certificate in the PR part as thats proof of relationship to sponsor
birth certificate of your husband and any kids that he has whether accompanying or not birth certificate MUST have father's name
copy of your passport that shows your pic, name etc the biometric page


I am sure I forgot stuff but others on here can fill in the gap

Soo I went to check our status since I have yet to ever get an update through ecas tracker and all of our information is gone and I cannot check our status!? Wtf ugh..........

RG-Keep trying, I tryed to check mine a few times a while ago and it wouldn't let me log in but its just a glitch. SO keep trying

Randysgirl... my ecas had done that before... it was like as if I was entering the file number wrong but yet I had it right the whole time... Don't stress over it... Ecas is not too reliable from my experience...

Mine used to do the same until it said when I put the file number I have to use a - in it ... So now instead of xxxxxxxx its xxxx-xxxx really weird. Maybe try that

Hmmm the only number I've ever had was a client ID# I will try not to stress
