question does the form the doctor give have to be dropped off or can it be sent my mail or dhl???
Hope every one has had a great few weeks i have been busy so i dont think about how long it will still be for us but i get too see my hubby and kids in 2 weeks time so im getting excited for that cuz its something to look forward too for now!!!!! its time for our time to end!!!!!!!!

You may also use mail (don't recommend, Jamaica Post is rubbish!) or a courier like DHL or Airpak so you can track and confirm the delivery (recommend). "Drop off" does not necessarily mean in person, but the re-do does have to go to KG, you don't wait for them to ask you for it once it has been re-done.

LWU - No, it cannot be faxed. The original of the copy form MUST be returned to KG, copies are not accepted for the medical and police record.

Witty, the next step is a "decision made" update. Since KG already has your passport, it is a matter of whether or not they accepted all the evidence you submitted and have decided to issue a visa for you.

Hello Everyone,

Calgary was hit with a nasty cold-front for all of this week!! It is UGLY and Bitter cold! My daughter decided to treat herself to a week in Jamaica with that amazing $99 seat sale last week so off she went yesterday...It was -38 with the windchill when she left!!
told ya...Nasty...she had a 5 hour delay because the pipes were "frozen" in the plane. ???
That alone would be enough for me to :'(

So, come on Kingston, need some big things happening in the near up-coming future, we have some people that want to snuggle for Valentines Day!! Fingers crossed and prayers going up for us all!

Im a new sponsor on the board here. Im doing outland for my husband who is in Jamaica.

My husband is in Jamaica.I gathered all the documents we need so police and medical was included. I also sent the full $1040 fee.

Mailed application - October 28 2011
Application Rec'd in Mississauga - October 31 2011
Received Email from CPC w/ Client ID and app #-December 28
Website info updated with Decision Made - January 16
Contacted CIC to find out if sponsorship approved because I am not in Canada, Im vacationing in Jamaica w/ my husband and was advised that sponsorship was approved January 10 and rest of application has been mailed out to Jamaica's Office.

The real wait begins for me now. My husband lived in Canada for 5 years and is a failed refugee claimant. His PRAA was also turned down so he was removed from Canada. He voluntarily departed on Sep 27, 2011. Buying his own tkt so that it wont be a problem to return. We've been married since April 15 2011
