Hey everyone. I haven't been on here for awhile. I have been trying to keep my mind off of the whole sponsorship process, so I don't drive myself mad. I decided to check to see if there was any ecas updates. I told myself there wouldn't be any because I haven't heard anything since April. But to my surprise when I check now I actually saw an update. It said Medicals recieved.

yay on Meds received ;D but apparently this maybe a glitch like last time as a lot of members are posting it please see below for maybe a logical explanation

That "medical received" thing is going around, lots of applicants from different visa offices are receiving that same update. I wouldn't get too excited about it yet, I've seen this happen once before this year already. We had about 8 different applications all receive that same update on the Kingston thread (and many others from other visa offices), to date 3 of those Kingston applications are still pending finalization! I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I think this is exactly the same thing as occurred then, and it doesn't really mean anything.

I as well received the first update on ecas to " In Process" since January this was yesterday and when I went to check it this evening it was gone ..... I figured it was a glitch after it disappeared boooooo.... Oh well tomoro is a new day

Well I chkd our ecas and sure enough ours says "meds received" as well sucks that its a glitch... Woulda been really nice if it wasn't!

Hey everyone, quick question for anyone else who had ecas update to meds received... Did anyone else get an ecas tracker email, cuz I jus got one saying meds received.

I just checked it again and it still says Medical results have been received. I will check again tommorow and see if it is still there. I really hope that its not a glitch.

MrsW, for everyone who received it, it remains for several weeks/months before disappearing again, as I remember from the first time I saw this in February this year.
