LOL Chelley, your son is too funny! ;D

that was my hubby! :o

JUST kidding LOL

lilmaya... i think any of the red flags might be the purpose of an interview... usually there's been one or two details on the file that are unique to the situation that they want to discuss... or ARCs.. (authorizations to return to canada), they are almost always interviewed i believe...

now i must work... 2 more hours to be productive... ugh!

thanks Charlie, lilmaya, and lonely wife! I just did that on my BBM.. sweetness!!!!

Can I just vent, i texted my hubby about this, and he was like, we dont need it.. its been approved in canada, we dont need anymore info.. IM annoyed.. trying to explain to him that if they call for an interview or request more documents we better be prepared...MEN... >:(
Im sure you have all dealt with a jamiacan man, either and ex, a brother, as husband, a dad.. hahaahha.. MY NERVES.. I try my best to bite my tongue.. visualize a frying pan flying through the jamaican sunset.. WHACK... ahhh I feel better already lmao

Hahaha Irving, I love it! Frying pan flying through the sunset...bahahaha, omg that was a good laugh!!!

On a similar note...my husband was teasing me online once, and I typed that I was smacking him upside the head where his mohawk doesn't cover so it really hurts. He typed back, "Woi, nuh lik me!" :o My husband spent way too much time picking up Patois, hahaha!!!

Irving - you crack me up, lol. Its true and i dont think its Jamaican men, its just men in general, my hubby is no different and according to him those things no necessary, but its better to be prepared than not, you never know for sure with kgn.

Thanks everyone for their kind advice and well wishes, I think I know why they are prohably requesting interview but im not scared or worried as i know God the ultimate support is in control,

I do understand why lilmaya would respond to what nae-nae said in that way though, because we are new to the forum and it was indeed a bit offensive, those who have already gone thru have to remember that not long ago they were in the position we are in now, and the fact that we are new we need the support of the elders to guide us how this works, and tell us how you kept same through you journey instead of judging us.

you guys dont know but since I found this forum i sometimes dont sleep i am on wishing someone would write something, this is how bad it is there are over 600 pages on this forum and since i joined i have read every single one of them.

this is not negative but is a positive thing for us, sorry if we complain, but we thought this was what this was all about, where we could be ourselves and brace each other.

just because you have past through your process now you see others process as negitave, thats not fair.
no offense but thanks to Charlie who is always there, and the few others, canuk and a few more, the rest have left us hanging........ But God is good,

tha

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

So true, lcw!

I have to say, I am worried, LOL. I am also keeping track of the February 2011 applicants thread, and there have been about 3 applications received in Feb returned so far! :O I mean, it's only 3 out of the many filed, I'm sure, but that's kind of a high percentage for this one period/thread, considering we have about 25 applicants on the list. We need some sea bath for that thread already, wi salt. :P Or maybe we need to kill a chicken. ::)

Anyways, I am marinating a steak, I am starving, and I am starting to feel embarrassed that I haven't finished this book I started reading on Saturday! Once upon a time, I used to finish a book that size in 2 days! Must be getting old. :( Is anyone else an avid reader?

Hey CharlieD10, which VO those persons that got their docs returned are going through, is it KGN? Just curious as to why and what happened.

Thanks

Different visa offices, but the point is they are being rejected before the sponsorship phase.

Thank you Baloo, wow, it sounds bad but maybe they didnt sign a form or something, thats all, well at least i am hoping that is the case and nothing more serious.

I don't believe that forms have arrived back with the applicants yet.
There is likely to be more information later, when they post the issues that prompted the return of their documents.

Jahlove, it's the little things. Someone said he forgot to write his wife's DOB and name on the back of one of the pics and did not include the medicals. The others have not received their packages back yet, so they are not sure what the story is yet. And it is different visa offices, we are all awaiting sponsorship approval.

Thanks CharlieD10 and Baloo

Can anyone give me a quick answer...tried to ask this before but not sure if it went through.

A friend advised that its pointless to get medicals here in Jamaica till they call you as by the time it reaches Jamaica it will be expired and you have to redo them.

Im about to fly back to Canada for a few weeks to get the rest of the package together and send it in to missasauga...figured it would be easier to file from Canada vs mailing from Jamaica.

I need to know if i should get my husband and child medicals before I go or wait for them to call me.

Thanks so much guys and girls

SmoothiesQ- the medicals MUST be submitted with the package to Mississiauga, so definitely get them done before you leave for Canada.
