Well DM has been done on the sponsors side months ago CIC now playing catch up lol

This whole time since Nov 2015 till now,both sides have been saying "in process" for me. I believe mine now on the sponsorship side has been updated sept 5. 2016
So I can really how they are playing catch up. Lol
I also noticed that the process time they have up on their site also keeps decreasing, I hope that's also a good.sign that things are moving along.

My Police Certificate has expired. Should I get another one and keep it in my possession until they request it or should I mail it in as soon as I get it? Help anyone?

When did you apply again? If your close to getting PPR or interview (like a month or 2 close) id get it redone and the police station will send a copy to them and you can pickup yours when it's ready and bring it to interview or have with you when it's requested. They usually send a copy or (proof it's done) right to Kingston when it's completed as well. (Can get it done now as long as it won't expire again before you get approved, that's the only concern) but if your a few months away, no worries, your golden and get it done now just make sure it's done at the right facility

Yes I'll get it redone hubby's is expiring next this month had him redo his last week will pick up on Friday then we'll send it off to them, if you don't send it in they'll ask you to bring it on the day of interview

hi guys new here

hubby's police clearence expire next month, but the Kingston Visa Office has his stuff and they have recieved his medical. my sponsorship was accepted. we just waiting on them to approve his. should i still get him to do another police clearence?

also im trying to link his application but im having such a hard time. the system cannot locate his application. could someone who have done it give me step by step guidance please.

I had issues with linking my application an got this email today from cic:

The immigration section at the High Commission of Canada is not able to assist with technical difficulties related to registering Permanent Resident applications online.

Hey everyone,

Any September Landing stories? It's my 1 year mark tomorrow nothing yet for me. Under Sponsorship Application Status it now says "Decision Made" under Permanent Residence Application Status still says "In Process". Anyone can help with this. It didn't say Decision Made before. We haven't received any documents discussing the decision.

Under Sponsorship Application Status it now says "Decision Made" under Permanent Residence Application Status still says "In Process". Anyone can help with this. It didn't say Decision Made before. Our one year mark was last Friday and I still haven't heard a word...Also my sponsorship side changed to decision made yesterday too, with the pr side still saying in process... I'm so sick of these people now, for real Processing time went down to 16 months, what's the hold up!!!???? Sorry guys, just getting really annoyed these days... Got 2 boys here waiting for their daddy and maternity leave ending real soon... Sick of this all.

Thank you!!! I hope we all hear something soon! Carried my son and delivered alone, raising him alone, going back to work alone... Just so bitter lol. Getting frustrating as you all know and feel daily as well

Thank you so much for the advice. I applied last November so I'm nearing the one year mark. I didn't even know it was a possibility to carry it to the interview. Ill get it redone as soon as possible and send it in if possible.

Thank you for your advice on the Police record... I appreciate it. I can't imagine what you're going through, with kids included in your process and all and not being able to see your spouse but praise be to God. I know you'll hear something pretty soon, you're almost there it's just around the corner ;D

yes my sponsorship also changed to decision made but pr side still in process as well. The notes I just received has 2 different due dates, one was August 15, 2016 and the other is November 25, 2016. August came and went and we didn't hear anything. Hopefully us September apps will hear something ASAP.

I am sorry Spartabarbiie that you are going through this alone, I as well did the same thing and being a "single" mom when you aren't really single is very tough.
