Has anyone had any luck with their MPP doing a status check? I am starting to weigh all options now. Maybe there is some information that my MPP can get that I can't. KVO really has me a way right now...

i applied June 22, 2015 and each day I wake I have hope that my wife will get a call or receive an email for passport request but still nothing. This is some joke thing. Right now I'm loosing hope.

I'm gonna look into how to do that tonight and do it, I keep seeing ppl taking about it but never thought but actually doing it. I've heard they can't actually make the process faster but they'll get a more detailed response of what's going on

Did you request notes or email KVO to see whats the hold up? Normally it must me something why they hold off for so long. My friend applied last April n her husband got his ppr in March, got his passport back in April n he came up May

I emailed my mp in my constituency and it's the same information I knew already they told me again, nothing new lol. I believe the note is even more detailed than the mp. Nothing beats a try still. Maybe KVO will look at your application as priority if the mp is enquiring about it (just saying)...They told me there is nothing they can do about speeding up the process because it hasn't passed the processing times which is 18 months I think. It's really sad with KVO. My coworker applied around 4 days before me and his wife is here now spending about 4-5 months in Canada and I'm still waiting to hear my wife and baby get ppr, but his wife is from the Philippines. It's KVO that's moving slow man. At least if they giving us some comforting updates we will feel much better but nothing. It's sad, really sad

No I haven't ordered notes and I'm tired of emailing them all they say it's in process. Nothing is wrong with the application. They haven't requested anything extra. One thing I know for sure they did was hold my family's application this long to make the police certificate and medicals expired so I have to let them redo the police certificate. I requested an extension on the medicals... I believe they are just moving slow because there's other June applicants on here waiting still for ppr.

If you request the notes you can see what type of notes they made on your file n that will give you an idea. My notes have an end date of April 7, 2017 so i just have to cool it. To be honest the notes are better at communication that the reps at KVO

Even tho it's only $5 to me it's rip off. I paid them too much money already to give them another dime. I even saw some ppl on here feeling disappointed because their notes was nothing comparing to what they were expecting. A next thing my wife has to sign and I don't know how I'm going to get that done. She has no scanner or anything.

Lol I emailed mine as well. Just pressed send. Let's see what he can come back with. Every other thread shows progress for most visa offices. KVO is just slow. India, phillipines, mexico....they're all flying through applications. Something is going on down there.
