Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. There is so much information here I'm pretty sure I'll be on here more than fb and insta. I recently sent in my spousal application it was received at CPC-M September 21, 2015. I received the confirmation of application receipt email from CIC on November 10. Ecas says processing started Novemeber 9, 2015. Is there a spreadsheet that I can add this info to? Please let me know. Thanks in advance. :) ps I live in Canada and hubby lives in Jamaica!

Congrats Tanesha!!! Thats awesome. Landing soon I hope!

Ok, here is our landing story:

Well, I was late because we left out and there was an accident on the highway.
Hubby texted while I was on my way to him saying he was in immigration. He did his SIN number as well while he was there and said being in the immigration section took about 20-25 mins max.

When I arrived at the airport he was waiting for me so I didnt get to see him walking out, but we walked out of the airport holding hands and he gasped at the cold air. Haha its not even cold yet!!

We got him some Tim Hortons and went home. My older kids were so happy to see him, and my 5 year old who didnt know he was coming just was like "oh my dads here", as if this was a normal thing. The baby is totally stuck to him today.

Its very weird. Its weeeiiiirrrrd. Hes looking at everything and asking how things work or where I put certain things, etc. Hes totally all up in my space haha.
We walked our son to school today, which was great. Hubby is freezing. He thinks he looks funny wearing a hat but I think he looks great.

We are getting ready to go to lunch at the Mandarin. This is awesome!! But still weird haha.

As I read through I can see everyone is like family. It's really sweet. I hope to hear before December. This application is all I've been thinking about. Trust me faith is a must. right now I'm fretting because I didn't have the money for the RPRF at the time i sent the application, now I'm wondering if I can send it with the UCI number or if I have to now wait until it's requested. I don't know what I should do. Any advice would help.

Well we sent everything police record, medical and RPRF when my wife sent the application, but i advice you try to send everything after you get approve and your husband document is sent to Jamaica. i Heard after they reach Kingston it take them two to three month to request stuff. I hope someone can give you more advice on here.

Thanks for the advice. It does make sense to do it before processing starts in Kingston. I wish it didn't have to go there I've had such bad experience with them already. God is good. Trusting Him to get us through. Thanks again for your help. You're very kind.

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all well. For those in Canada I hope you're keeping warm. Outside of the fact I miss my husband I'm a little distressed over our application. I submitted everything except the RPRF to CPC-M and now I'm worried that it will cause an even longer delay. I have finally received the UCI so I'm wondering if I should be sending the receipt of payment now or if I should wait until it is requested and send the receipt with the letter. Does any one have any advice. Chucky44 suggested I send it when I get SA. Is that the general consensus?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Jamaicanadian! Looks like we have similar application dates...I only just got my AOR on Saturday nov.14 and am praying that my buddy PM Justin has given a mandate to immigration to accelerate the processing of these applications (fingers crossed :) )

As for you fees, I remember Lijasha had advised me to pay them sooner rather than later as she felt her application encountered a bit of delay because they seemed to pause her application when they had to ask for fee payment, if that happens, its possible it may cause a delay in processing. I did include everything upfront so we will see if it has much of an impact..I just figured that I didn't want Kingston to have to come ask us for anything but the passport. Anyhow, just my 2 cents, best of luck! This forum is really good, very positive & supportive.
