Just checked my eCas as I do 10000x a day and it shows decision made now when it always showed in progress. I hope that means they have his passport ready soon!
21 working days is wednesday! Fingers crossed

That's great!! He should hopefully be getting it back any day now!! :D

Congrats Dollface1 . Things are looking up. :D

I have a few question, I am going to be submitting my application this week but i have a few unanswered question first:
1- Once approved how long does it take for the Permanent Resident Card to come in the mail once he lands in Canada because he is going to finish his schooling in Jamaica and will need to travel back and forth to Jamaica.
2- How long normally is the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) good for? Just in case he is approved before the school year ends

The VO will call the applicant, so they will call your hubby.
They call from private or unknown number
They did not leave my hubby a voicemail, but they sent an email.

Welcome to the crew! Lol
Ive heard the PR card takes 6-8 weeks to come in. Anybody else have different info?
Im not too sure about copr though. Make sure to let me know when you submit your application and I will add you to the spreadsheet. You can look at the link below in my signature line to see approx on processing times. We are here to help!

Thx you nursewife

i am curious when do the 7 or so month for someone getting through, start count from the day application send to cic or when Kingston start process application?

Hey Shorty, just curious and I apologize if you have already answered this.. Has your husband received his passport back yet? I know they requested it almost a month ago and I'm curious how long it takes to get them back.

I'm praying they keep my husbands passport at his interview and maybe there's a chance he will make it by the new year.

Thanks

I'm curious to know as well, my husband finishes his bachelors degree in May 2016.

Hey Chucky,

I've been seeing a trend that they are requesting for Passports after 7 months of the applicant's application (not sponsor's) being processed at the KIN office.
So if this trend is still happening, Cece's & MsMcLaughlin's husbands should hear something today or this week as they are currently sending PPR to applicants,
Processing dates in April@The KIN Office. So if your application started in September @KIN, you should receive PPR in March or April 2016, I say "should"
because this could change, and this is Jamaica :P
