Does an exclusion order slow down the processing? my husband said he had a dream he came back to Canada early I wish it was true ... but with a year eexclusion order they probably won't issue a visa until it is over... I'm missing him like crazy waiting for him to come back to his family my kids miss him so much :(

Suzanne all we can tell you is what others have posted and said in the same situation as you and YES he will need to wait the year of exclusion before he can come here. Think you have asked that before and others have told you that he will need to wait until after his exclusion. That is not to say that he will not be here one day after the year is up though. I know it must be frustrating for you to have to wait especially with KGN seeming to be working so quickly, but he did overstay and does have that order to not return for a year. Good luck!

Yes they do....blood test (cocaine, heroine...ect... enzymes on harddrugs) and urine analyze (weed, tabac). They do all the tests including drugs. But as I am working in insurance and deal with bloodtest and urine analyze every day. I can tell you that if you man smoke weed tell him to stop for 3 weeks and no trace will be found. But for blood profile...the cocaine and stuff....they could find enzymes even 10 years after using.

I am just basing my answer on the fact that there have been plenty of folks get through that do smoke. My husband doesn't smoke but thought it might be a good idea to try a weed cake 2 days before his meds and had no issues, one of our friends does quite regularly and he just landed a month ago without any issues. Not saying its not a good idea to stop before your meds - but reality is, the medicals are testing to make sure that you don't have any health concerns that could be taxing to the Canadian health care system - since its so generous and all. Again, just based on my experience and I certainly don't take it personally if someone disagrees with my thoughts!

I'm just wondering from reading your sidebar why did it take them so long too give you an aor?? I'm just curious that's if you don't mind me asking :) hoping you get pr soon :)

I think it's because my file was transferred to port of Spain that's why it took them so long

Hi MelJam,

so I followed your advice and I emailed POS at the address that you gave me yesterday. They responded back to me within a few hours. I was very impressed.

They told me to proceed and to get our PC redone because it would be required and to send it in as soon as we get it back.

Thank you!

Solkaman,

That is great news I am happy you decided to send in the PC, and based on what they said about sending in the PC soon sounds like you may soon get a PR request, lets hope.

Well, I put like 300 pages of whatsapp convos...(3 months of convo) explaining in a note that I could not go more back in the history. I never put any phone calls evidence explaining in that same note that we skyping for free. I attach the note with all the evidence documents. You enclose this with your forms/applications and all the other documents in one package. Make sure you identify all your evidences documents properly with your names and date of birth (not on all the pages but at least on the first page of your convos whatsapp and on the note of course).
thank you

Hi, my husband had an exclusion order. We got married shortly after he was sent back to jamaica, and sent in out application 1 month after the exclusion order was up. It took 7 months for our application to be processed.
