We didn't have to either and it was done Feb - 2013. Odd isn't it how and who decides

All of our requested docs were sent yesterday by DHL and delivered.

@ sh and sh... Send in all the doc's that you have re: your husband a.s.a.p...
Believe it or not, a lot of people have errors or other types of issues with their BC... Get the process started in regards to his daughter's Birth Certificate ( I am assuming that he would have to do DNA, because he is not 'named ' on the BC)... Dealing with this and her mother's doc's might take some time...

Send what u have, and proof ( paid receipts, letter , etc)that the other doc's are in progress

Thanks everyone,

Well hubby has to redo his medical...they couldn't ask for an extension because it was already expired. They said it won't take as long once he submits it and they are going to email him today with the request.

The IO asked him a lot of questions about my previous marriage and if it bothered him that I was previously married. He said no explained that we had met in university that we had problems it didn't work out and we divorced. He said that you can't judge someone on their past it isn't right. To which the IO said I'm not judging your wife. He said her past has nothing to do with how much I love her. They asked him about where I work, my family and he talked about our expected baby due in March. He said when we applied the processing times were only 18 months and it was difficult being apart from one another. The IO said the process them inor der of receipt and said there had been a backlog of cases which is why the time increased. She said we were near the end of our process and that it wouldn't take long. But that there were over 1000 cases that needed to be processed. So we will get that medical done asap...and fingers crossed we hear some good news soon!

Sounds good!!! Hubby will soon get back his passport with the shiny visa in it and next thing you know, You'll be looking for flights to welcome him home. ;D

Stalking DHL, emails and ECAS daily sweetie, a real psycho mi tell u LOL! Hubby and I are anxious and excited, we just can't wait.

We'll have a wonderful week as of his B'day on Sunday, then PP back during the week to top it up ;D
