Hello and welcome to the JAMFAm Impatientgirl!! Unfortunately KGN always seems to be on its own schedule. As of right now it is looking like the wait time is approx 12-14 months from sponsorship approval. Not sure if yours is different due to the ARC, but if you have any questions please post bc there are a few members that were in similar situations. Thanks for providng your details. Kadi who is in control of the spreadsheet will add you when she has a moment I am sure. In the meantime have a seat and enjoy the friendly and helpful JAMFAM.

well because of my situation i got an immigration lawyers assistance to help guide me with my case, and she did a pretty good job to guide us so far she wasn't about money at all and that was great to know that not all these people are about money, when she met my boyfriend at the time she took the case right away and didn't even mention nothing about money.
when i was leaving i didn't receive a letter stating that i cant return till such time, all i got was the ticket date to leave and that was that, when i send the cheque to immigration they did say other wise so i pray every day that all goes well as is so far......am at 7 months so am guessing 5 months to go i pray!

After ecas shows meds n pc received, whats the average time for them to request passport??? 2 3 or 4 months later???

Afternoon All-

Trying to keep my cool.....bumboclot....

I just got off the phone with the MP in my area, who essentially has done nothing to help us out- I called her back in Feb 2014- she said "immigration isn't an overnight process you know.." I told her I understand that but it was 10 months total time since our application had been started. She said it takes 25 months and to call her after that. I called her again today and she said that she spoke with KGN inquiring about our case, and that nothing has even been started. WTF!!

I said I am on an online forum where the TOTAL time for the immigration process average for most people is 12-14 months- she proceeded to tell me that this is "IMPOSSIBLE" and that this website/ forum must be made up of fake people or could be anybody on the internet posing as people who are getting through in that amount of time!!!!

Lord God help me... I give up....

*sigh*

Oh man that totally sucks and what a dumb arse MP!! I can tell you for a FACT that I know of at least ONE REAL person who has landed here from JA and is living happily with his spouse and he took 12 months from application to arrival!! So stick your tongue out to her. LOL!! I bet that there are a lot of REAL people on this forum and some pretty amazing ones at that. Just breathe ShSh....your time will be here soon!!

Who here is coming up to a year (from sponsorship approval)??? Who has passed a year since their SPA?? Who is our longest waiting member still in the system thus far?

She obviously does not know what she is talking about ... We are REAL and WONDERFUL people 8)... Breath ( inhale exhale)... Although most get through in that 12-14 month, there are those that take a bit longer... I am at 16 month... DM, waiting on the return of PP... I also reached a point if frustration around the 12 month mark , and saw movement around the 14th month mark ... Your time is around the corner ;)

Please put up your timeline, it will be easier to remember/ understand your timeline ;)... For example, mine never said PC & Med's received ( originally ), but it showed that after they asked me to re- submit my PC & Medical, 2 weeks after that ... PPR ( & schedule A), two weeks after that DM

Ummm... so that's a load of balogna!!!! Obviously your MP just doesn't want to help. Mine doesn't either, so you're not alone. I'm just going to continue to be patient and wait it out. Helps that I'm seeing hubby in a couple of weeks.
