My hubby often tells me to "ease my mind". I definitely think he keeps me calm through this process or otherwise I would seriously go crazy!

I sent an email to Kingston yesterday afternoon and got a response from them this morning.

You can't win. They either ignore you or respond with some bullshit answer.

I did see Tessanne's audition, gave me goosebumps.. I am happy you are making time/finding ways to distract yourself throughout the process. Saves you from going nuts.. Do you know that this process is so intense that it will affect you psychologically even when it is over. As your hubby slips, you know how men sometimes speak without thinking, you will immediately go back to the moment when you had to wait for his arrival.. the pressure, the expense, the forever waiting.. Immigration does not even realize that this process compares to some serious life changing situations.. so much rides on this decision. So enjoy yourself in anyway you can while you wait. I am rooting for Tessanne as well. Do you know which channel brings the show or the line up.

Thank god we aren't dealing with the US visa offices. Because of the US shutdown the visa offices are closed

My poor Aunt was waiting for her interview date and now it's not happening because of this. I feel so bad for her and all the others waiting for entry into the states
