I hope this is a joke! Has anyone read the post on marriage fraud?

Good night all!

I did. That guy is a real drama queen and either stubborn to the extreme or simply stupid.

When we do decide to sponsor our spouse, we all know what it means. There are some risks at stake since we sign and are responsable for three years, all our loved ones are telling us to be cautious, asks us if we are sure and trust our other half; why did we have to fall in love with someone that lives so far away and so on...The beauty of life is that we cannot be sure of anything, we live grand moments and we have to face many challenge as well... As for love, the real one I mean, it's always unexpected and unconditional, it also requires lots of trust, honesty, patience and generosity.

We hear plenty of horror stories in the media, I just wish that we would also hear about the happy ending one also, but it doesn't sell as much I guess. Fortunately we all have each other to share with and support one another.

Blessings to all of you and may the 2012 applicants post their good news so that it lifts up all of our spirits and helps us to remain strong on this long and emotionally draining journey.

Welcome Cadsponsor.. you and I are close on our timelines. I applied for my husband the end of May 2013, approved and sent to Kingston July5th.
When I check the web site , it only says App received.... yours says med received as well??

Yes, Application Received. That is supposed to mean that the application has been received by the Kingston office for processing (my understanding of it). I got an email confirmation that all papers have been submitted to the Kingston consulate in Jamaica.

Also, the status of the application papers is "Application Received". Not sure if that is higher than medical :P

no most people have application received and then after that medical received will be added. Not sure why the delay. We still have a couple of members from 2012 that only have application received and no medical yet, not sure if it is a missed update or what?

Good morning forum peeps! One and a half days left for Kingston to give us some good news for someone! I want to get my green crayon working!!!!!

On a side note, does anyone watch The Voice? Who is voting for Tessanne Chin from Jamaica to make it through? Man she has got a voice, I am hoping she makes it through but dang some of the others are really good too!

Stage 1: 90 day
Stage 2: 17 months

Give them as much detail as you have to so they don't have any questions in their mind. Pretend you are the visa officer and someone is trying to prove their relationship is genuine.

Thanks for the Reply Nevaeha

Question:
I've started to fill in the Application form your suggestions long winded detail or short to the point but clear?
Next just curious what's Chickie or anyone what was the time frame when you first applyed as your the Visa worrier here?

When I applied, sponsor approval was at 55 days but it quickly kept going up until it reached 99 days and Kingstons processing time was 16 months and it has steadily inclined also (way back in the day LOL ) :P :P :P :P :P
