I have a pretty simple case as Nev, My husband and I started dating in 2008 we got married Jan 2012 and applied June 2012 but was sent back to us because of one form change I sent it out again in August was marked received Sept. 25/12. I was approved to sponsor Nov. 3/12 and it was received in Kingston Nov. 28,2012. The only thing that has changed was eligibility went to "in Progress" on August 19th,2013. I am waiting till October to order my next notes.

My husband and I applied for a visiting visa August2,13 but we were denied on Sept 17,2013.

Fingers crossed he will be here before Xmas or even next week lol ;D

Thanks everyone. For the well wishes.
Carm. I second the next week. Wouldn't mind "Having" to take another trip. Haha

I was looking at the spreadsheet was noticing after rprf was paid 6 months later ppr was asked for. I am hoping and praying for dec then as that will mark my 1 year since approved as a sponsor. I passed the 3 month mark since I was asked to pay rprf. Just hoping and praying for the best.

we too have passed the one year mark and still not even a word, we have lost friends, families and even our minds in this process. our application date will forever be in our minds.

I feel your pain. And have experienced similar if not the same.
<3 hope you see the light soon.

looking at the excel sheet I am the only one between sept to Nov who has application received without medical as received :( I hope that's just not updated on my ECAS because on my notes it only says in progress for medical but that hasn't changed since we applied

hey there, just want to give you a heads up on how I think it works, not based on experience just based on what I have seen others go thru. If you look at spreadsheet for Kerolsgirl, her RPF was asked for in Dec then in March her ARC was asked for then in June her passport was asked for....that is a 3 month timeline for each. Then look at thegentleman, RPF was asked for in Feb, no arc required, COPR received in May.....another 3 month time line. I think this has to do with the bring forward dates on everything......they give you a bring forward date of 60-90 days whenever they ask for anything. My RPF was asked for in March but I seem to have gotten stuck in the middle of the summer holiday thing and the strike which is why I didn't get asked for my ARC after 3 months but finally when they started up again, they asked for it and in my notes there is a bring forward date of Oct 13th so I am hoping they will look at ours again then. So good news in this is that they may just soon ask you for PPR as your 3 months is up now!

I agree totally with this.......this process is draining, not only financially, but physically and mentally!

You might want to check with your mp to see if they can shed some light. In my notes it says passed. And my mp confirmed he passed his medical when I called them last month.

THanks I just wrote him a email asking. Also have a safe trip and have a blast with your hubby ;D

Oh I was reading Kerolsgirl Dec RPRF and June PPR that was six months and thegentleman cant compare he got a COPR. That's how I was estimated my time to be ending of Nov or Dec as the exclusion order is up first week of Nov. I rather wait out the time instead of paying additional 400 in the governments pockets. Thanks for the information it helps.

Kerolsgirl ended up having to pay the $400 for her ARC in March even though her exclusion order was over in May and when hubby went to take the PP in to the high commission in June, they refunded them the $400 so the same may happen for you but in the end you will get it back!
