Hi everyone. I know I don't post often but does anyone have any idea how long it takes to get the passport back once it's been sent in or the visa? My husband got the call yesterday. They told him he had to be out of jamaica before sept 24 otherwise his meds and police check would expire nd he'd have to redo them before being able to join me in Canada. They also told him to snd his light itinerary with his passport. He sent both his passport and itinerary to Kingston today and it reached there at 430. I booked his flight for sept 5, hoping he will have his passport back by then. I fly to jamaica sept 1 to help him pack and bring him home.
congrats on your hubby passport request.....im so happy for you and your hubby.....this show that kingston is working slowly but surely.....this maybe the breakthru that this forum needed...

:D HAPPY HUMP DAY :D

What have you got for us today, Kingston? Who's lucky day is it going to be?

Don't focus on where you are today. Keep a positive vision and see yourself fulfilling your destiny. ~Joel Osteen~

Hey Ladies,
I'm been reading some of your post and your timelines don't look very hopeful, has it really been taking more then a year for more then 80% of you? I will Marry in November and was hopin to have him with me by summer I am amazed and energizing by all your strengh you all have and hope that i will be able to stay as positive as all of you.
I wish and pray for all of you to have your Husbands soon.

Is there anyone else from Quebec?

Welcome JASnowflake; just put in positive energy and maybe you will get your dream of having the hubs here by next summer. Put in the work before thinking about the wait! So start getting your documents together; start drafting the applications; and put your supporting docs together. So as soon as you have that marriage cert in hand; you can just finalize, review and send. Then get ready to exercise patience ;D

All the best; I hope you have a beautiful wedding day. We are all here for support!

12 Responsibilities of Every Husband Toward His Wife
~Pastor Kohl

From The Old Testament:
1. Cleave To Her – Geneses 2:24. Cleave means to “embrace, hold on to.”
2. Praise Her – Proverbs 31:28. Compliment her often concerning her person and her works.
3. Desire Her – Ezekiel 24:16-18. “The desire of thine eyes.” Only have eyes for her. Do not covet another wife (Exodus 20:17).
4. Cheer Her Up – Deuteronomy 24:5.

From The New Testament:
5. Love Her – Ephesians 5:25. Not with a limited human love but with a divine love.
6. Nourish Her – Ephesians 5:29. Take care of her physical needs.
7. Cherish Her – Ephesians 5:29. Cherish means “to warm, to brood over, to foster.” The same word is used in I Thessalonians 2:7.
8. Lead Her – I Corinthians 9:5. Do not drive, lead!
9. Honor Her – I Peter 3:7. Honor means to hold up in high esteem. Do not treat her like a slave or waitress. Treat her like a Queen or Princess.
10. Satisfy Her – I Corinthians 7:4-5. Satisfy the physical need of your wife. Keep romance in your marriage.
11. Pay Her – I Corinthians 7:3. “Benevolence Fund.” Put her needs and wants alongside or above yours. Give her some money.
12. Head Her – Ephesians 5:23. Anything with two heads is a monster. Be a good guide of the marriage and family. Be a leader and example.
