Hello Folks, yes, it has been a while, whew. Well, Hubby has been here about 1 month and it is sooooooooo nice. They tell me at work i have a glow, lol. I had gone down to JA and let me tell you after 24 months, coming up with hubby was such a blessing, when we got to immigration i was well prepared to wait forever, it was smooth sailing and we were out in minutes, i was floored, we were wisked out of the looooooong line and take to a shorter line i guess which are for landed immigrants, in no time we were done. Then on the way from there, a man just pointed at my hubby and said "you come here" see here mi nearly tackle him, as i was a bit frightned, he was just the welcoming person, so i was stepping up going with him, he held up his hand and said "no" just him, a tell you i almost tackled him again. Anyway he got his red bag and his Canada flag with all the documents on jobs, housing etc. Then we were on the outside waiting for my sis and her husband to come pick us up. So far so good, will tell more stories another time, hubby is cooking for the first time tonight and whether it is is good or not, i guess i have to commend him for his efforts. He has never cooked before, shall i call 911 now or after? lol

To all those waiting Chickie72, Neveah, Maddants, oneandonly and everyone too numerous to mention, hold on! Because once it is over you will be GLOWING!

hey there sis.....im happy that you and hubby are sure getting along good in canada.... right now it look like im running down your 24 month to get thru.....but i know that it dont matter how long it take me as long as i get to my wife in canada im good.

I just received my notes for the first time today. Can anyone please help me figure them out? I dont know exactly what I am to look for?

Never imagined how lovely it would feel to be in his company in Jamaica while waiting out the process. I am defiantly getting my tan on did the washing today and got burnt didn't put any sunblock on. Few days ago it rained so much it made it cool perfect to sleep in. I hope you keep the faith I know this process drives us crazy but that light at then end of the tunnel is getting brighter.

Here are the things that would be most important to me:

- any notes made by the visa officer regarding your relationship and whether or not they believe it to be genuine; if they require an interview or not.
- have the statuses i.e. background checks, etc. started, not started, or passed

If you have any specific questions regarding your notes and understanding them, please feel free to pm me.

lol....me and him is thinking about the same thing....lol...how are things with you and hubby......i bet is nice to be here in jamaica for 6 months with hubby
 
Good morning everyone, I hope everyone is doing ok. It friday and i know alot of ppl on this forum hate when friday comes because the weekend kicks in and that mean all the immigration officers stop working for 2 day straight. But one think is that is always getting one day closer to be with your love ones for the rest of our lives. God is not going to fail us at all. Just have faith in him/she... I pray everyday for everyone on here and myself. We are going to get thru with the grace of God. Can everyone put together a prayer for our sister Gigi on the Port of Spain forum....It very hard to know that these ppl have our life in there hand but one thing i can say is that they cant stop God at all...

Everything is bless its AMAZING love being a house wife lol went to the bar a few nights ago. It was real nice had a few drinks then played some poker thinking of going to the casino or bar tonight or tomorrow. The stares are getting real annoying though.

dreams usually are a look into the future...so this is a REALLY good sign!!!
