I have a question that I am asking on behalf of a friend and am looking for people to give me feedback about what they think. My friend had an interview may 14th and at the end of it they told him they would contact him when they made a decision and today his ecas changed to decision made and it says an officer will contact him regarding the decision and his address is still the same on Ecas. What do u think this means for him? I know from my notes that eligibility is the first thing they do so if they were going to continue on would it say decision made already? He was on refugee in Canada and had to return home so I would think they would still have to do his criminality and security still? Man U just never know how Kingston is going to do their thing though. When someone's ecas changes to decision made doesn't their address change to Canadian address too? Please let me know what u think! Thanks

Chickie, Chickie, Chickie...you know darn well whatever we assume is happening with your friend's application it's going to be the exact opposite outcome!!!!! I still haven't figured KG out after all this time!

Just because I'm nosy: when did they apply? when did they receive a request for an interview?

I hope and pray it will be a positive outcome.

Let's hope your friend is contacted by the end of this week and KG requests his passport.

Can you share his interview experience with us?

It's hard to study CIC and the ECAS is not 100% foolproof as sometimes it takes a while to be updated. When my husband was approved as sponsor it didn't change until a week or so later. Only time will tell what the real deal is as we can only assume right now. Your friend can only hope for the best right now. It's hard to speculate the outcome.

yes that is true it really is hard to speculate

Hi Chickie72 welcome back, with regards to your friend it is so hard to say when it comes to Kingston, how did your friend feel the interview went? It is so hard to study Kingston, as just when you think you have them figured out they change their MO. the address i would not worry about as they sometimes take awhile before they change it to the Canada address. I hope all went well for him, hopefully someone who has had the experience of an interview can shed some light.

Navaeha, thanks for holding down the fort.

Hi Chickie

I am not no where near going through this journey but have had friends who have; everyone's situation is different as we have become so familiar in seeing and we really wish the best for his case.

However I do have a friend who he went for interview and his situation seemed hopeless; as he was being sponsored by his wife but in his interview immigration asked him how is it it that 3 yrs ago she had sent him an invitation letter as being a family member and also how come since they have been married he has another child not of his wife.

he was told that they would make contact with him and about three months after he was successful.

So there maybe light at the end of his tunnel; we just have to pray for him and all our brothers and sister on this journey.
