Thanks chickie!!! I was wondering about that too because the email didn't state (Tuesday or Thursday) like I've seen on here. It only states to drop off or send it as soon as possible.

well i was just going by what others said on here, (Tuesday and Thursday) but if it doesn't say then it should be good to go for tomorrow i would think!

Well i got my notes back today.....I can see they have been working on my file....looks like just the eligibility part so far, no concerns about genuineness, last update was looking into my finances???? Makes me feel a whole lot better still.

Again ........

NO consistency coming out of Kingston. My husband said he asked the lady on the phone if there's a specific day that he needs to drop it off and she said; "just do it as soon as you get new police clearance"

I kw they are not open to the public on fridays ... but any other day, I think they'll take it

That is something that they really need to work on....consistency. I know to drop off applications in person you can only go between 8:00 - 10:00 Mon - Thur, so maybe it will be the same to drop off passports?? Who knows....

Hey Carm - hubby and I have been together 4 years. Our 1 year anniversary is coming up on March 17...Hubby only has 1 child (our son together) so therefore we had no dependents on our application. Our application went to in process (shown on e-cas) on February 4th.

Hang in there girl...it seems KG is on a mission to clear out our forum. Your turn is right around the corner....

So sorry to hear about your hubby...tell him, heads up, he will be in your arms before he knows it!

OK thank you :) this is similar to our case! been together for 4 years married one year in January, no dependents. only thing we dont have children yet. This makes me feel good that we are closer then we think

That's progress right there, Chickie! And who knows what else they have completed or been working on since your notes were printed! Are you going to order them every month?

No the only thing i can think of is because we are also bringing 2 dependents with my hubby.....I am not concerned in the least....I have a stable job (9 years) and a pretty good income so it doesn't worry me. I think it is just part of the background/eligibility that they have to look into it.

yes that is what i was saying to Ready also....the last update on my file was Jan 21st when they received the finance records from Mississauga and I ordered the notes on Feb 8th so who knows what has been done so far! One thing about my notes is that it says in my notes each time I have ordered them LOL and yes I am going to order them again right shortly.....its the only way of getting some sort of update from them!
