My hubbie had to go on the hunt for the courier man while he was en route along the north coast! But his final destination was Mobay.
Here's the status:

(Let's pick this apart shall we?)

Monday, January 28, 2013 Location Time
3 Departed Facility in MONTEGO BAY - JAMAICA MONTEGO BAY - JAMAICA 16:23

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 Location Time
2 Shipment Accepted MONTEGO BAY KINGSTON - JAMAICA 07:32

Monday, January 28, 2013 Location Time
1 Shipment picked up MONTEGO BAY - JAMAICA 16:13

See above in RED. Shouldn't it be KINGSTON?

After the PPR call did they call him again for anything? Meaning should my hubbie expect another call to be advised that the visa has been mailed back?

Big congrats Halfmoon. Wow. You must be so very excited. I can feel it! I know the anxiety is high and hope everything will be finalised very soon so you can put this all behind you. Best wishes for the closing stages!

Hey Tammyball!!! Thank you so much. I've been telling meself once all this settles, that I need to write a special note to all on here for the help and support. Really appreciate your kind words!!

How you doing?

That's what I told hubbie. I said that would likely be the first and last call. LOL

BTW, he said she wasn't extremely friendly nor unpleasant but came across as "professional" getting to the point and doing her work. I was like seeeesh, you'd think when someone is being given good news, they could throw a few clusters of confetti or something. :-X

i was tripping out about all that too, but we were assured that DHL knew and knows exactly where the package had to go, and as long as its a visa it will go to where its supposed to

OMG one scary ass detail i forgot to leave out !!!!!!!!!

so upon return of hubbys visa...DHL sent me a notification and it said arrived mobay facility out for delivery @ 12 to his district!!!!!

I almost had a heart attack i immediately called the depot and said lookie here yall said u were gonna hold it till he comes for it and he is on his way for it and his plane is leaving in a few hours so u guys makes sure it does NOT leave the depot!!!!!

OH and to make matter MORE intensifying the address they had as final destination was his district but the spelling was WAY off!!!!!

so u just make sure u call DHL give them tracking # tell them its a passport, so upon receipt they are to hold it at the depot for ur man to come n pick it up?? UNLESS its going straight to his district post office for pick up??

ANYHOW that morning i had a brief meltdown....but didnt last long cause within an hours passport was back with shiny visa inside :)

for hubby it felt like a dream cause i had his flight booked and everything even BEFORE he had the visa in his hands....not knowing if we woulda got it back for sure with visa....u know those last minute too goo to be true doubts lol

what a day DEC 18 2012 we will never forget!!!

OMG, seeing how you both got yours in hand and hubbie right along side, this feels like how when you are baptized and everyone stands around to catch you after you dip in the wata. You two sisters are the wata catchers!!!

I just sent an email to advise them of the passport send off. Soooo anal.
